Items described with an aural grade have been carefully played on a Garrard 301 turntable with an SME 312s tonearm and Koetsu Rosewood cartridge cartridge.

We treat grading very seriously and use the UK Record Collector grading scale with the addition of a (+) or (– ) to denote a slight increase or decrease in condition.

Record:

The surfaces  feature a full and complete lustre, no marks, light paper chaffing only .  The 1st pressing Tulip labels are in super order. No writing, rips, stickers or other blemishes. Condition grade visually = Near Mint (NM)

Sleeve:

The fully laminated cover is again in superb order  all seams, corners and spine are sharp and true =  Near Mint (NM)

Please take the time to study the images above and note our grading scale below

Grading Guide:

"MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklets etc are in perfect condition.

Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

NEAR MINT: Very close to Mint with only the slightest signs of play and the very lightest paper chaffing only to the surfaces of the record. The cover shows only the very slightest wear

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Packaging:

Records within the inner sleeve will be removed from the cover and sandwiched between professional card stiffeners then inserted into a protective plastic sleeve. This package is then placed within a professional cruciform record mailer (N.B: We do not use cheap mailers)
