VINTAGE "SELMER ZODIAC" TWIN 50 Watt COMBO!!
THE HISTORY
Originally bought from Lonnie Donegan's (then) Guitarist in 1964, by Boogie Piano Player Bob Hall, who used to 'lend' it to various Musicians who were Recording or Gigging at the time!
This ACTUAL Amp was mainly used during the '60's UK BLUES BOOM ..at Recording Sessions & 'Live' Gigs!
Amongst the Players & Bands who Used this were; The Groundhogs / Savoy Brown / Peter Green / Danny Kirwan / Dave Kelly / Brunning Sunflower Band / J.B. Hutto / Lightnin' Slim / Mickey Baker & others!
A VERY healthy Pedigree, I'm sure You will agree!
THE AMP IS 'WELL USED'...with Broken Handles, grubby, some of the Back covering coming away on L/H bottom side(see Pic!) a missing tone control, Tremelo doesn't seem to work..BUT with TLC, COULD all be restored!!...www.chambonino.com is worth checking out!
It Sounds FANTASTIC!!! (with a 'Gibson') (OR) any Guitar with 'Humbuckers'..VERY LOUD!!
