Very RARE iconic Original 1971 Vinyl Record Growers of Mushrooms by Leaf Hound. I bought this record myself in the early 1970s from the discount record section in the famous Whiteleys Department Store in Bayswater, London. At the time I was a student at the University of London from 1970-76 and it was discounted because it did not have its cover. I bought it in a generic rainbow cover.
The record has been played only a handful of times and is in excellent almost mint condition.
As a pensioner I am now having to sell my rare 1970s LP collection and art to pay my bills.,,,,so more to follow!
According to the Rare Record Price Guide 2022 this record is valued at 2500 GBP. In the past I just missed buying an original sleeve cover on ebay for 300 GBP. However, according to Wikipedia an original copy of this record sold on Ebay for 4000 GBP. So, the starting price is being set at 2000 GBP - so only for serious collectors !
