Hi live performance diggers,
Psst, don't tell Ebay, but there are circulating 1000's of rare live recordings on their auction site. Mostly quality of sound is poor & accompanying info is scarce. I think they are aware of this, but I guess Ebay close their eyes a bit on this matter. It generates a bit of fee huh, doesn't it? The big trick now is to find live recordings, which sound reasonable & this search costs nearly a lifetime. I did listen to these recordings from the start of the eighties on and I collected a couple of Excellent sounding vinyls. In the early eighties you could order these live albums mostly in the US and you'd get Mint (minus) sealed copies. Now thirty years on these LP's are still in Excellent shape & all played only a couple of times....
Then we have this Van "the Man" live recording with the best thinkable band behind him; what'd y'd think of Peter Bardens, Bobby Tench, Peter van Hooke, Annette Peacock et al. in the backing band.This is a live recording from the Roxy LA in 1978.
Vinyl is Excellent; little wear of age, but not audible. Cover is Excellent; little wear of age, not disturbing (see picture>zoom).
