THE SMITHS - Reel Around The Fountain b/w Jeane GREEN LABEL TEST PRESSING!
Soho Music are proud and very honoured to present an extremely rare item to you - The Smiths - Reel Around the Fountain as a green label test pressing! A truly rare test pressing with a catalogue number given as the same as "This Charming Man" - RT136. Probably only 25 of these Troy Tate produced beauties were pressed. The label is hand written in black marker to the a-side and biro to the b-side (see scans). Etched matrix numbers read RT136 A-1U-1 and RT136 B-1U-1. The run out on side 2 reads "Slap Me on the Patio". Vinyl is near mint. Comes with full COA!
What makes it appealing is the fact it's from the archive of the late Scott Piering himself, the Smiths' hugely influential and successful plugger and at times caretaker manager.
