THE AMAZINGLY RARE '2.52' 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP AND PLAYS THE ULTRA RARE '2.52' WITHDRAWN 'DEMO' VERSION OF 'TELL ME' THIS '2.52' MIX SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN ON THIS LP AT ALL (AS IT WAS NEVER APPROVED!), AND WAS IMMEDIATELY CHANGED TO THE STANDARD '4.06' PRESSING OF 'TELL ME' WHICH APPEARS ON ALL LATER PRESSINGS. ONLY A TINY HANDFUL OF THESE LPs EVER LEAKED OUT WITH THE WRONG '2.52' VERSION - AND MAKE THIS, THE RAREST & MOST SOUGHT AFTER ROLLING STONES LP OF ALL TIME. IT IS ALSO VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT ON THIS 1ST PRESSING - THE '2.52' VERSION OF 'TELL ME' IS NOT ONLY SHORTER THAN THE STANDARD LATER '4.06' VERSION - BUT ALSO A TOTALLY DIFFERENT RECORDING.
Vinyl: EX+. The vinyl is in great condition with a great shine and a few sleeve removal marks Superb Audio
Labels: EX. The red unboxed Decca labels are in superb condition . There is fairly light spindle wear considering it's age and the red is vibrant with the silver text in sparkling condition. On side 2 label a minute JAA initial is barely visible.
Sleeve: EX. The sleeve is in very solid condition and would be better except for a little "fogging" of the laminate on the bottom right corner.. The rest of the laminate has a lovely shine with just a couple of tiny, light marks. The white back is one of the cleanest I've ever seen as these are normally very stained and discoloured. Everything is nice and bright and easily readable including the spine.
