The first disc features the original quartet on live recordings from 1977 and 1979. The second disc expands to a ten piece lineup that is from live sets in 1980 and 1981. The name of the album is reference to the group's preference to not have "the" in their name and a nod to the way David Byrne would introduce songs live - just by saying the name of the song.
