Description

This is a 1st press copy of "Detroit" by The Jazzmen, issued in 1956 by Savoy Records (MG-12083, deep groove, RVG and MG 12083 in the dead wax, red/silver label). The band features Kenny Burrell (guitar), Tommy Flanagan (piano), Pepper Adams (baritone sax), Paul Chambers (bass) and Kenny Clarke (drums).

The vinyl is VG+ with some hairline marks visible mainly on side A. I spot-played it and there's some light background noise during the quiet parts. The labels have mild spindle marks. The cover is VG with wear at the corners and rubbing that's mainly visible on the back, loss to the back slick at the bottom left corner, a small bump along the top edge. The inner sleeve is not original.
