The Beatles ‘demo disc’ She Loves You.
A single-sided acetate of She Loves You by The Beatles. Dick James acetate label on one side, pasted over a melodisc label. B side is grooveless but shows remains of a melodisc label. It's widely reported that Dick James Music used melodisc blanks to cut their acetates in the 1960s. This is a 6.5 inch disc. The version of She Loves You on this acetate appears to be the same version as released. A handful of these acetates have come up for sale over the years, but I have been unable to find another example of this title as a one-sided acetate.
Condition is I'd say G. There are light marks and it plays with some crackle, distortion and skips a bit. A hole is punched through the disc and the Dick James label. Label is clean and as seen in photo. Thanks!
