VERY FIRST UK GOLD - STEREO PRESS with "Dick James " Credits.

This Parlophone STEREO GOLD label is the one.

PCS 3402

Matrix Side 1:

YEX 94-1

Matrix Side 2:

YEX 95-1

STAMPERS:  1R on side one & 1G on side two : THESE ARE REVERSE STAMPERS AS THEY ARE USUALLY 1G/1R!

FOR A MORE DETAILED NOTE ON THIS PLEASE SEE a very useful guide here http://www.beatlebay.co.uk/stereo.html

THE HEAVY WEIGHT VINYL IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS, LOOKS HARDLY PLAYED AND SOUNDS GREAT!! SIDE ONE LOOKS ALMOST PERFECT AND IS EASILY GRADED AS EX+ . SIDE TWO ALSO LOOKS GREAT ALTHOUGH THERE ARE A COUPLE OF HAIRLINE SURFACE MARKS SO I WOULD CONSERVATIVELY GRADE AS VG+.

THE GLOSSY VINYL IS PERFECTLY FLAT WITH NO WARPING AND NO WRITING ETC.

THE ERNEST J. DAY & CO SLEEVE IS VERY CLEAN AND COMPLETE WITH NO TEARS TO THE FOLDOVERS. THERE IS VERY SLIGHT SCUFFING TO THE BOTTOM LEFT AND RIGHT CORNERS (SEE PICS).

THE EMITEX "MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN" INNER IS PRESENT AND IS IN A NEAR MINT SUPERB CONDITION BEARING THE FIRST "PATENTS APPLIED FOR" WORDING TOO.

WITH ONLY A VERY LIMITED NUMBER OF COPIES TO HAVE BEEN PRODUCED AT THE VERY BEGINNING, THESE GOLD ALBUMS WERE USUALLY ALWAYS PLAYED TO DEATH BY 1964!.

FINDING ONE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION OR HIGHER IS BECOMING MORE DIFFICULT AND THIS PARTICULAR COPY IS IN A VERY VERY COLLECTABLE SHAPE. THIS HAS OBVIOUSLY BEEN WELL LOOKED AFTER AS IF THE BUYER KNEW THIS WOULD BE WORTH IT'S WEIGHT IN GOLD ONE DAY.

THE GOLD LABELS ARE CLEAR AND BRIGHT WITH NO SPINDLE MARKS AND HARDLY ANY WEAR TO THE HOLES AT ALL!.

THIS IS A RARE OPPORTUNITY TO ACQUIRE ONE OF THE MOST COLLECTABLE BEATLES ALBUM OF ALL TIME.

The record has been in the hands of 1 owner (who Im selling on behalf of) all this time who bought it at WH Smith (franchised to International Stores) in Waller Street Luton purchased in Spring of 1963.

Would prefer pick up, but will ship internationally. Royal Mail Insured Signed For Shipping costs to some parts of the world vary a lot, so I may ask for additional postage to the £4 quoted but will only be what it costs to send etc.

We are an independent record shop with 10 years experience. We are selling other rare records this week - please take a look. We'll be happy to combine postage costs to give you a good deal on several. We will wrap your item very carefully with extra card before sending via signed for delivery. If you are not 100% happy with the quality of your purchase please get in touch to return the item and receive a full refund. Please let us know if you have any questions.
