Original authentic 1st US Capitol Records pressing factory sealed copy of The Beach Boys’ 11th studio album “Pet Sounds” released on Capitol Records on May 16, 1966. This outstanding copy is the example of the 1st very early Scranton, PA pressing. The back cover contains the factory designator RIAA “3” in the lower right-hand corner. Original 1st print cardboard cover with a white border and “DUOPHONIC®__for STEREO Phonographs” banner. The album still remains in the factory sealed condition with the fully intact shrink wrap containing original breathe holes, two on the front and back cover. The mouth is tightly sealed but if you look carefully inside using a strong light source than you’ll be able to see the original gold “Capitol’66; Sounds Great!” inner sleeve.
