THIS IS THE RARE FIRST STEREO PRESSING WITH WRONG CATALOGUE NUMBER ( PCS 7022 ) on side 2 label, the number should be PCS 7027 and was quickly corrected.

Only two Beatles Lp’s were pressed in Finland in the 60’s with the Yellow & Black Parlophone label: ”Sgt. Pepper” and ”A Collection of Beatles Oldies” The quantities were very small, probably just a couple of hundreds, and the UK pressings of the two LP’s are much more common also in Finland. THIS MISPRINT IS THE MOST RARE FINNISH BEATLES PRESSING EXISTING and a true rarity in every meaning of the word.

The Finnish pressings can be identified from the details of the label which is identical with other contemporary Finnish Parlophone releases, more information about this can be found from the web (but don’t look Discogs for ”the Finnish Pepper”, it is yet to be properly listed there).

Condition of the record : VG(++) lots of faint hairlines can be seen in bright light, nothing feelable. Plays almost perfectly, most of the time the output is flawless. Excellent pressing on heavy vinyl. The record is rare in any condition but this copy is still very enjoyable to listen.

Cover is Excellent, very nice G&L UK cover (only the record was pressed in Finland, UK covers and inserts were used in the release)

Very neat NM insert (UK) and not so fine original UK inner sleeve which sadly has seam splits and some small coffee stains (can easily be replaced with any original UK Fool’s inner when wanted)

Matrix numbers:

Side 1: YEX 637-1 / 2 (mother, 9 o’clock) no stamper letter (as usual with non-UK pressings)

Side 2: YEX 638-1 / 1 (mother, 9 o’clock) no stamper letter
