Description

THE PETERSONS:    MEL OMEGA Records (Mfd in Philadelphia in the 70's)   WHAT'S IT GONNA BE/JUST WHAT I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR  -  Original 70's Vinyl single--NOT a reissue.  I got this in a collection around 10 years ago;  it was with a copy of the TOLL DARKNESS single on ALPHA Records (I'll be listing this record next Sunday).  KEN PETERSON was the creative genius behind THE PETERSONS, and he was also behind TOLL DARKESS.  This Disc was pressed in Philadelphia.  I don't know, but I assume that THE PETERSONS might have been originally based in Pennsylvania and later moved to Georgia, where TOLL DARKESS were located.  I'd also assume that KEN PETERSON took a box of 45's with him from Philadelphia, pasted TOLL DARKNESS labels over them, and sold them at his gigs (along with his TOLL DARKNESS 45's).  This is one extremely rare record;  the only copy listed on Popsike sold recently for over a thousand, and it was only in G condition.  You won't get one better than this!  The Labels are clean and New on both Sides.  The Vinyl Record looks New. WHAT'S IT GONNA BE plays New. JUST WHAT I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR plays Almost New/New.  It's been played very few times, if at all.  I've posted some audio clips from both sides of this record at: www.gate.net/~rhanes/petersons45whats.wma - If you click onto this hyperlink, you can download them as WINDOWS MEDIA AUDIO Files and listen for yourself. Crank up the Volume!  Postage Rates have gone up. I can ship this anywhere in the USA 1st Class for $4.00. This should ship to most Overseas Countries via First Class Mail for around $14.00; Canada will cost around $9.00. If this sells to a non-US Buyer, and it sells for $50-$120, it will have to ship via Registered Mail in addition to First Class Postage, but I'll pay 5.50 of the 13.95 Registered Mail Fee. If it sells to a non-US Buyer for $120-$1200, it will have to ship Air Priority Flat Rate Envelope ($34.00), and I'll have to pay for Insurance for the full amount sold. If it sells to a non-US Buyer for over $1200, it will have to ship Express Mail International, which will cost around $120,  and I'll pay for Insurance. Don't pay for this until you receive my Bill/Invoice. If you want to pay outside of the Paypal system, then I can send this out to you any way you want; (we can work this out later). The POST OFFICE LOSES PACKAGES, don't blame me if it happens to you. Since I will have to insure it, I will have to declare full sales value; if paying other than Paypal, I can ship it any way you want. Paypal rules make it very difficult and expensive to ship anything out of the country now, since they require on-line Tracking Numbers. You can't get that with simple First Class International shipping. No reserve. Good luck! The US Post Office has made it very difficult to Insure packages leaving the country. PLEASE DON'T PAY UNTIL YOU RECEIVE AN INVOICE FROM ME.  No Reserve. Good luck!
