Welcome to the latest quality “Recordelite” Lp listings! We start with this superb extremely clean and rare BEACH BOYS title. You may find some nice copies of Pet Sounds but this is the nicest one we have come across in 16 years! The vinyl appears unplayed..I would safely categorize it as NM TO MINT...the vinyl is super glossy, thick and inflexible, and the cover is still in Original factory shrink! This is the hard to find DUOPHONIC stereo pressing with the early "DT-1-2458 A9/ DT-2-2458 B10" matrix found in the deadwax!! You will be very hard pressed to find a copy with a better vinyl, cover, or label condition. The Covers & Labels are Beautiful!! The labels are the original Capitol Colorband labels (see photos). It also includes the original olive green Capitol Records catalogue inner sleeve. This album was play tested. It plays clean! I noticed a 1" very fine light hairline on side one but it did not affect play whatsover. This is truly a Beach Boys collector's dream! Beach Boys "Pet Sounds" on Capitol Records DT-2458 Duophonic Stereo, an absolute original 1966 first pressing. Still in Shrink. No seam splits, no ringwear, no edgewear. Inner Sleeve is NM too.
