Up for bid is a real grail of a psych record, an original pressing of the self titled album from Sainte Anthony's Fyre released on the Zonk Records label. This is not a recent reissue but the genuine original, very limited pressing from 1970.
The LP and jacket are both in solid VG+ condition. The LP shows very light signs of wear consistent with storage in an unlined paper sleeve. This LP has been play-graded on a quality turntable and does not skip and has only very little to no surface noise in some of the quieter passages. It should also be noted that there is a very slight dish that is barely noticeable and certainly does not effect any aspect of the playback of the record. It is only visually noticeable when side 2 is played as the LP does not sit perfectly flat on the platter at the label. As per Goldmine grading standards, this LP is still solidly VG+ and will certainly not disappoint. The labels are very clean and show no signs of spindle wear. The jacket is also in very nice shape as there is only very light ring wear and little to no wear on the corners and edges. As pictured, there is a very small amount of writing on the back cover. Given the extreme rarity and beautiful condition of this LP, there is a reserve on this auction, but it is very low relative to the highly sought-after nature of this psych gem. As always, the LP is shipped in a poly-lined paper sleeve outside of the jacket, all housed in a polymer sleeve to prevent any damage during shipment. All records are shipped in sturdy, cardboard record mailers with reinforcement to protect them in transit.
