Highly collectable double album from Stan Getz released around 1955, this was his first "in concert" album and is on the NORGRAN label.

The yellow record labels are immaculate with no pen marks, stickers or tears.

The albums are housed in the original die cut brown inners, both of these have writing in pen stating the length of the sides. The vinyls are in Excellent + condition, no visual or audible imperfections. Both have been professionally cleaned on an Okki Nokki machine (not that they needed it!). The 10 page card photo inner is intact and free from pen marks and tears. There is a little age yellow to the front page (see picture but nothing serious. All the photographs have retained their clarity despite the age of the item.

The box needs a little attention.  The bottom right hand coner is split at the corner. The top right hand corner is split at the corner. The top left hand corner is split at the corner and has a 1" card lift as well. The bottom left hand corner is intact. There is about 2" of card lift to the top rear of the box (see picture). The spine is clearly readable, no pen marks or any other tears etc. There is a tiny piece of label residue to the top right hand corner of the front box. Sleeve notes by Norman Granz on the inside front of the box is immaculate. So, in summary, the box is Very Good + and can be repaired by some one with a lighter touch than me. The box also contains a piece of cardboard the same size as the book.

Those Old Records, Lichfield Staffordshire UK

We are a small business founded in 2006 and based in Lichfield Staffordshire. We only sell high quality vinyl and do not trade in inferior cd's. In addition, we organize a number of specialist vinyl record fairs in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Lichfield and Burton Upon Trent.  We aim to provide the very best customer service at all times – accurate gradings, strong packaging and all at a keen price. Any queries please mail me at thoseoldrecords@btinternet.com<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Record Grading:

All records are graded as per the standards set by Record Collector. Records are examined under a strong halogen light and graded accordingly. In addition, all NON MINT records are played on a LINN Axis turntable with an Akito arm with a Roksan cartridge. I tend not to get carried away with the classification or use words like “impossibly rare” “vault copy” or any other such nonsense.  My reviews are precise and to the point.  It is assumed that you know something of the artist so I rarely provide a description of who they are/were etc. The High Numbers become The Who, `N Betweens become Slade – you will not find a long description on the history in these reviews.

Record Cleaning:

All NON MINT albums are professionally cleaned prior to classification on an Okki Nokki record cleaning machine before dispatch.

Packaging: (all vinyl 7” + 12”)

Packaging is of the highest quality.  I use professional mailers at all times, each record is supported by 2 cardboard stiffeners. The inner sleeve and record are packed individually in order to reduce wear on the sleeve in transit. The record, inner and cardboard stiffeners are then packed inside a high grade polythene record protector before being sealed in the mailer. The mailer is then supported by tape around the edges in order to minimise risk.

 Postage Costs:

Postage is normally done the next working day after payment. All items are sent "Recorded Delivery". There are no exceptions. Proof of postage is retained with all items.
