SPACEMEN 3: Transparent Radiation / Honey (Forced Exposure, FE-017)
Here's the scoop: the gentlemen Coley / Johnson aka heart and soul of Forced Exposure magazine - like any self-respecting label owner - had test-pressings made of the 45s to go with the magazine. And being the collector-scum that they are, they hand-decorated them individually and of course numbered the 25 white label copies. In the case of the Spacemen 3 45 - to my ears the best of their subscribers-only releases - we have the pic of poor soul who had to do with not enough sound of confusion. It's # 7 out of 25 and I bought this directly from Mr. Coley in the early 90s when he disposed of his 45 collection. It's in immaculate/as-new condition! A once-in-a-life-time chance for the Spacemen 3 completist!
