Other information

This is probably one of the best copies of this rare UK Christian acid folk concept LP you will find.

The sleeve is crisp and clean, with an absolutely perfect spine, no tears, stains or bumped corners, but it has a few light creases in the laminate for which the sleeve has been downgraded to EX+.

Unfortunately the insert is missing.

This LP is featured in Hans Pokora's 6001 Record Collector Dreams (with a rarity scale of 4 discs: a true rarity).

There were allegedly just 99 copies pressed.

Feel free to ask me any questions.

A review in The Archivist...

"Another lovely homemade British electric folk obscurity. The delicate male/female unison vocals, gentle acoustic guitar and overall dreamy presentation give these folks an edge similar to 11:59. And when they mix in such instruments as mandolin, violin, banjo and subtle electric guitar, they approach the beauty of Presence. Originality in lyric is revealed by titles like ‘All Creation Is A Prayer’, ‘The Heavens Cry’, ‘To Jesus, On His Birthday’, ‘We Sang Our Songs Upon A Hill’ and ‘To My Friend, A Disbeliever’, not to mention the unusual album title. Attractive solo vocals as well on ‘It’s Better That I Go’, ‘Creation Is A Failure’, ‘Fleur’s Song’ and ‘Sam’s Song’. No credits or much information of any kind on the sleeve, save that all proceeds go to Queen Mary’s Hospital For Children in Carshalton, Surrey. Cover is a photo of a child’s face, the top of her head replaced with a painting of flowers, trees and a bird in the sky, with several cut-out b&w photos in the background. The grading standard used is the UK Record Collector magazine gradings as described below

Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.??

Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.??

Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

I always remove the record from the outer sleeve (to avoid seam split whilst in transit) and then insert the record and sleeve into a brand new polythene sleeve. I always aim to dispatch the package either on the day of purchase or the next day, and update the status Ebay either on the day of dispatch or the following day, so that you are fully aware of the progress of dispatched items. About Us I have been a collecting and dealing in records for nearly 30 years and the records on sale are either part of my collection that I no longer require, or have acquired over the years as part of a job lot I purchased. In addition to selling records, I also, from time to time offer for sale other interesting items (movie posters, lobby cards, magazines, books etc) I come across in my search for records and have some knowledge about (movie & music memorabilia, collectable books & magazines etc). I have been buying and selling on Ebay since July 2000, and have a 100% positive feedback rate. I pride myself on giving accurate gradings & descriptions and doing everything I can to ensure that every sale goes smoothly. I believe that collectable items are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them, so all my auctions have a realistic starting price in relation to their rarity and/or condition. Terms Payment must be received within 5 days or I reserve the right to cancel the auction and relist. If there will be an unavoidable delay in sending payment , please advise me to avoid the sale being cancelled.  526 (GS 6.6.6 (526))
