Description

Up for auction is an absolutely stunning VINYL copy of SAVOY BROWN's album "Jack The Toad" released in June 1973 by DECCA (cat. no. TXS 112). This original UK first pressing is still in an as new condition! I hardly ever grade a forty year old vinyl record as MINT, but this is as close as it gets – you won't be disappointed! The album looks like it just left the printers or the record shop!

The laminated gatefold RECORD SLEEVE is in MINT- condition! There are absolutely NO creases, NO bends, NO seam splits, NO deletion marks (punch holes, saw marks, etc.), NO ring wear, NO unwanted writing visible! The lamination is highly glossy, the colours are bright & vibrant! The spine is perfect! You will be hard pushed to find a better copy of this 40 year old album!

The vinyl RECORD looks like the day it was pressed! Mirror-like & without a single mark to report of! I just play-tested the album today from start to finish and it sounds perfect! I didn't even notice one click or backround crackle...! I will grade both sides of the VINYL as MINT-!

Both matt-finished blue coloured DECCA LABELS are MINT! There's not a single trace around the spindle-hole either side! Just perfect!

Matrix numbers are as follows: Side 1: SAHS-1642.P-1W (stamped) and Side 2: SAHS-1643.P-1W (stamped).

The original DECCA INNER SLEEVE with U.K. Patent No. 1,072,844 is in NEAR MINT- condition.

PLEASE NOTE: SHIPPING TO THE UK IS ONLY GBP 4.50!

I stick to the 'RECORD COLLECTOR' grading system (please see below). Satisfaction guaranteed!

Thanks for looking & good luck! Please feel free to contact me for further details! Please have a look at my other auctions!

The album will be mailed to the lucky winner in a stiff record box with extra cardboard stiffeners for best possible protection! The experience and fun of buying records on eBay is ruined if you discover that – once the album arrives – they are either not in the condition stated or have been damaged in the post! For this reason I try to describe all my items in detail, and only post using strong sturdy packaging. Please see my excellent feedback especially in terms of packaging! My records come from a guaranteed smoke- and pet-free home!
