Description

For the Lynyrd Skynyrd fan who has just about everything.

Rare: 1 of 75 albums signed by band for radio stations; this album has all ten names, some of the 75 albums have fewer names. The album is very rare Lynyrd Skynyrd memorabilia.

Provenance: The album was purchased at the famous Village Music record store in Mill Valley, California in the late '70s or early 80s (I forgot the exact date). I was told the band signed the album and gave it away at a radio show promotion event in San Francisco. The album is used but in good shape. I recall there are a couple of small scratches on the vinyl but the album plays well. Under the "R" in Road, there is a small worn out spot on the bottom center of the album cover, probably from the record bin. Realizing it is cherished Lynyrd Skynyrd memorabilia, I had the album professionally framed in the mid-80s. The LP is in the album jacket and the album and jacket are framed in heavy wood, perhaps mahogany or walnut wood. I do not recall if the album had a record sleeve or not but I probably added one before I framed it.

Please note the first six pictures are of the framed album for sale. The next four pictures were found on the Web and are for example only.

"One More from the Road" is a live album by Lynyrd Skynyrd. It marked the band's first live album, and the only live album from the "classic" era of the band (1970–1977) prior to the plane crash that killed lead singer/songwriter Ronnie Van Zant, as well as band members Steve Gaines and Cassie Gaines. The album was released in September 1976. It was certified Gold on 10/26/1976, Platinum on 12/30/1976 and 3x Platinum on 7/21/1987 by the RIAA. (source: wiki)
