Extremely Rare 1st Pressing Winnie-The-Pooh, Christopher Robin Songs 78rpm Record Set
Beyond AA Milne's books, this record was one of the very first Winnie The Pooh products ever created.
The cover shows some of the earliest Slesinger adaptations of EH Shepard's illustrations
and, for the first time ever, shows Pooh in his trademark red shirt.
Songs are performed by tenor Frank Luther with violin, clarinet and piano accompaniment.
Records credit all songs to A.A. Milne - H. Frasier - Simson. Simson is misprinted as Simpson on 222-A
Square octavo with circular picture label affixed to front panel, housing three 78 RPM vinyl 7" inch records in record filing chemise.

Set has no unifying catalog number and no printed date, estimated 1931-1932. No matrix numbers, stamped only with side numbers and <VE>

Octavo is in outstanding condition for its age. Front stickered image is crisp & clear, with no bubbles or peeling.
There is an eraser mark on the upper left side which does not obscure any illustrations or text. Small number of light stains.
Covers are overall crisp with softening at the edges from handling & storage. No rips, tears, major creases, etc.
"STEVE" written in faint pencil on rear cover. Covers and internal pages are all firmly attached. Internal sleeves are crisp.
Labels are all very clean with clear text. Clear machine stampings in the inner bands. Vinyl is overall very glossy with light marks.
Some of the marks will be audible but are unlikely to cause skips or skids on most players. As with most 78rpms, there will be surface noise.
