Up for auction is a copy of the ROLLING STONES - BIG HITS (HIGH TIDE AND GREEN GRASS) sleeve that was WITHDRAWN and not sent into general circulation!
This is the version with TWO LINES OF LOWERCASE (SMALL) LETTERS across the front cover, not the common version with five lines of text.
Released in the US in 1966 by London Records, this is the Mono version with catalog number NP-1. This copy is not without conditional issues, as seen in the photographs, including split seams along the top and bottom.
Please keep in mind that what you are bidding on is the SLEEVE ONLY. The LP is NOT included here, unfortunately.
This is one of the absolute RAREST Rolling Stones record covers of all time and almost never come up for sale. This is the first one to surface in three years; you will NOT see another one of these come up for sale for a long, long time. This is the only copy of this one I have seen in over 20+ years of record collecting.
