Description

After a couple of years of umming and ahhing I've decided to sell this LP,as I feel it's not being fully appreciated stuck in my vinyl collection as we are collectors mainly of Elvis,Beatles and Rock'n' Roll and  I think that this should go to a true Stones fan who will look after it. We came across it in a batch of records that we bought and didn't see the signatures until we got home. I'm not familiar with the Stones signatures, but I'm hoping that true fans will be able to see if they are genuine-I have no reason to believe otherwise-but it would be interesting to have this confirmed by someone. I have scanned around the back of the sleeve where all the signatures are,and hopefully they are clear enough pictures-there are no signatures on the front of sleeve. There are a couple of odd ones in there as well which -when I've asked friends-come up with the idea that it could possibly be Gene Pitney(why that is I truly don't know-again,I'm hoping that someone may know)which says 'To The Boys 'Gene Pitney'(see scan) ..there is also another one from a Charles-but that could of course be Charlie Watts. There is some doodling and a mention of a 'Jerry' a few times as well-as well as an Uncle Jim(whoever that is!).Obviously some of the signatures have faded slightly as they are probably nearing on to 40 years old now but are still clear enough to decipher!..Please note; The sleeve really isn't in the best of condition as you can see from the scan but all the signings are clear enough-the 'tattiness' is mainly around the edge and on the front(see scan). The record is in a poor state too unfortunately with many surface marks and some stratches-just about plays but does pop and there is a lot of surface noise,so please do NOT bid if you want a record that plays well..This auction really is for the sleeve/signatures . Inner sleeve is also only fair. The record details however just in case somebody is interested are that's it's  DECCA / Red & Silver Label(has someone's name-written on one side of label in marker pen).Cat No; LK 4605 / Flipback sleeve/ MONO /Matrix No's:XARL-6271-2A & XARL-6272-3A. It also has the track 'Mona' listed instead of the usuaI 'I Need You Baby' track ..I have added a number of scans to give you(hopefully) a good idea of what it looks like..IF YOU NEED ANY FURTHER DETAILS,MORE PICTURES ETC PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO CONTACT ME ...This really is a lovely thing for a true collector.. THANKS FOR LOOKING!!!
