TITLE/ARTIST: Hello and please continue to check out all current and future listings as everything from my personal collection will eventually come up for sale - records from the '50's, '60's, and much, much more - all "oldies" and all in great condition! Here is another of those early, rare and highly collectible LP`s by one of the great R'n'R singers of all time, Ricky Nelson. It is yet another album in outstanding condition - both the vinyl and jacket. This album - his very 1st for Imperial Records - is on the original, "stars on the top" Imperial Label and is self-entitled "Ricky" from 1957. For anyone who is interested, I also plan to list his very 1st ever LP release (on the Verve Label) in today's auction, too - so check it out.The LP has 12 great songs including his hits, "Be-Bop Baby", "Boppin' The Blues", and "Have I Told You Lately That I Love You" and 9 others - all in MONO and all in outstanding shape (see the pictures above for all of the song titles). LABEL INFO: This original, Imperial Label (LP 9048) is just about perfect with no issues at all - I don't even see any spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me that it had very little play time - if any at all. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also super shiny, clean, and nice with again, nothing in need of a mention at all. In my opinion, the vinyl looks almost as good as the day it was 1st purchased. JACKET INFO: Finally, this jacket is also in very good condition and close to perfect. In my opinion, this whole package would make a great addition to anyone's collection!! INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, this LP is in very nice shape, so please have at it and continue to check this site for more great conditioned "oldies" from my personal collection. As I have already mentioned, over time I am selling off my entire collection, and there are 100's more to get to yet -- of all genre's, sizes, and varieties. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So again, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time.
