RICARDO MARRERO - A TASTE - TSG 805
Original issue on the highly collectable TSG label out of NYC. Ricardo Marrero recorded this album only to have the master tapes stolen and released on TSG without his knowing. Like all TSG releases, it was kept quiet and so the sales were zilch. Hence rarity! This particular copy was previously owned by famed UK collector, producer and DJ of all things Brasilian - Joe Davis. That's his signature you can see on the back.
Awesome latin funk including the long version of 'Babalonia'. A super LP from start to finish! Reserve reflects rarity and market value.
The vinyl is clean and would grade Near Mint but for few inconsequential hair lines/paper scuffs.
The sleeve is VG+ and still in original (partially removed) shrink wrap. Top and bottom seams are split halfway along their lengths. Slight wear on the corners of open edge. The sticker you can see on the top right corner is on the shrink, not the sleeve itself.
