This LP was recorded on two separate dates; February 15th & March 17th of 1967. They would end up being Coltrane's last ever recording sessions.This historic LP features an all star lineup of Alice Coltrane , Jimmy Garrison, Rashid Ali, and Pharoah Sanders and was produced by Bob Thiele and engineered by Rudy Van Gelder.
This album is in overall great shape! The record is virtually spotless, sounds great & even comes in its original generic Impulse Records inner sleeve. The gatefod laminated cover is quite nice as well, the only flaws being a nick in the bottom seam and a few bends along the back corner and along the spine. Real nice!
