Another from my personal collection! Stored in a case for over 30 years! The vinyl was removed from the record sleeve and stored seperately in a poly sleeve all of its storage life!!! That's the way i have always stored my albums. This is an unbelievabl 30 years old and barely ever played!, !! You never see these originals  in any where near this condition (these are so hard to keep like this)!!! I have tried my best to capture the exceptional quality of this album in my photos in critical light!!!!!!!

News of the World is the sixth studio album by English rock band Queen, released in 1977.

Containing such hit songs as "We Will Rock You" and "We Are the Champions" (which are both commonly heard at sporting events) and "Spread Your Wings", the album went four times platinum in the United States alone and is tied with 1980's The Game as Queen's best American selling album!!

Despite being an abrupt departure from the band's progressive sound, the album is considered one of Queen's strongest albums from the 1970s. It received mixed reviews from both critics and fans upon its release, but today it is considered to be a milestone album in the development of arena rock!!.

News of the World was the second album to be produced solely by the band (the first being A Day at the Races) and was recorded at Sarm West and Wessex Studios, England and co-produced and engineered by Mike Stone.

The vinyl.

It is quite obvious that under inspection this vinyl has barely ever been played at all! On initial inspection , I can't see a blemish at all! Obviously any whispy lines that could possibly be seen would only have been caused by the vinyl been removed\slid in and out of its sleeve! I have stored the vinyl seperately in a poly sleeve all of its storage life, most of these originals got damaged very quickly in the original paper sleeves! This vinyl has retained its sheen from new and indeed looks almost as new in my opinion.

The Audio

I have played this vinyl through track for track on a top system at very loud volume prior to listing! The audio is cristal clear and very vibrant throughout! Absolutely stunning stereo seperation! (Absolutely awesome production on this album) (no) loud clicks or pops throughout! (no) distortion or any signs that this has been overplayed what so ever! Please note! It is too easy to be critical about these mid seventies pressings, and believe me it is so rare and hard to find good playable copies of this album on vinyl, but this vinyl plays almost as good as it gets iun my opinion, very near mint audio throughout! Audio is graded at the very top on all frequencies!!

Please note! I always add this disclaimer! Please allow for the odd light static tick\crackle in the odd quiet places (not consistant throughout the audio) Please remember that this is a genuine 32 year old vinyl that would have originaly been played on a 32 year old system! In my opinionm this vinyl plays almost as good as it gets!

Important note! This vinyl has been stored in a case ,laying dormant for at least 30 years or more!, A build up of dirt and dust in the grooves causes static ticks\crackle,,, A constant clean before each play is recomended! This will reduce any static and will enhance the audio quality! 

The labels

As new!!Amaizingly I can't see any spidering ! this has hardly ever been played! Try to find better?!

The Record Sleeve

This original lyric sleeve (with the die cut hole), has (no) splits or tares or creases as new!

The Cover

This is the original 1st issue  Garrod & Lofhouse (non) laminated gatefold cover very very hard to find in good condition like this.  There is very light general storageware indeed to mention just light general rubbing at the edges (no) splits or tares and no real creases to mention !(no) nasty names written this is strong and straight! This must grade at least excellent!!!

Please do not underestimate the rarety of this album and being an original 1st issue that is 30 years old is becoming more and more collectable and in this condition will rarely ever be seen like this!!!!!!
