I am truly sorry, and apologize from the bottom of my heart, to those of you who bid on this 78 earlier. The error in Skip James name, in the title of the listing, did not do justice to the 78. I hope you will understand and I thank you for your interest in this record.

Since I had to list this 78 again, I'm starting it at the highest offer I've had. Please do not ask me to pull the record. I won't pull it no matter how high the offer.

Pre War 78 - Skip James

20 20 Blues b/w If You Haven't Any Hay Get On Down The Road

Paramount 13066 - G condition (Old Goldmine Grading System used) - See grading system further down in this listing - (No cracks or skips, but I did notice one edge flake (only on one side-see scan). 20 20 Blues, plays with low volume, probably from being played so much back in the day. Flip side plays with higher volume. Loaded with scratches and scuffs. Slightly graying grooves. Both sides play with background noise.)

This 78 was highly abused. I found it thrown in a box with many other pre-war 78s. None of them were in sleeves.

In the last month or so, I listed several other 1930s 78s. They were all from the same find. I actually stopped short of listing this 78 because I was ashamed of listing items in lesser conditions. I didn't want to be associated with selling records in the condition they were in, but, since I had already gone through the process of listing, I went ahead with the auctions. Then, I noticed the attention they were getting. I had bids on some of them almost immediately. This caused me to rethink what I was doing, and my thought pattern concerning several of the other 78s, including this one.

I stayed up late, scheduling listings, the night before this 78 started. That is what I contribute the error to, in Skip James name, in the "Title Section," of that listing. That is why I had to end auction early, and make the correction. Again, I apologize to those of you who had bids on that listing.

$5 shipping on all 78s. Do not prepay, I will invoice you.

See scans of labels for condition.

All records are graded using the Goldmine Grading System:

M = Mint = Never played quality

NM = Near Mint = Would be Mint except for a very minor reason.

VG+ = Has a few slight scratches/scuffs but plays with very little, if any, noise.

VG = Has several scratches/scuffs, or other minor issues, but still sounds nice.

VG- = Lots of scratches/scuffs, or other issues, and plays with a good bit of noise.

G+ = Loaded with scratches/scuffs and plays with a lot of noise, but no skips.

G = This grading is only for horrible condition records that are super rare and most likely used as a filler.

$5.00 shipping on all 78s. Please do not prepay for 78s. An invoice will be emailed to you ASAP.

All 78s are double packaged with plenty of packing material. No need to worry, I’ve been packaging 78s since the late 60s.

NOTE: Payment is expected within 3 days of the time you are invoiced or end of auction.
