Description

PINK FLOYD Pictures Of Pink Floyd Vol.2 (Top Sound) Rare MINT-

Ultra rare very early seventies live recording of the by then Barrett-less Pink Floyd indulging the psychedelic excesses of the era. Released by Top Sound and distributed by Quality Records in Las Vegas (undated, but probably 1970). Apparently, this was one of the very first "unofficial" live recordings ever released by any rock artist. As such, it is a document of (not only) historical value - and well worth its price.

Tracks listed and indulged in are: 1) Green Is The Colour (3.55)
                                                       2) A Saucerful Of Secrets (18.51)
                                                       3) Atom Heart Mother (17.30)

The sound quality, given the time and age, is actually quite excellent. Most definitely a highly collectable item for the Pink Floyd adept or completist.

Condition:

MINT- COVER of the thin folded poster-type, housed in a (perfect, but obviously vintage) clear plastic sleeve. Except for a single small crease (at upper left), the cover is pure perfection.

MINT- RECORD. Two or three faintly visible hairlines, from sleeve removal only. I play-graded this, and the audio quality itself is very near perfect, as the record was obviously played only a few times. Very small store sticker on one of the (white) labels.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the fact that the record is a bit buckled from decades of storage, it will need to be weighted down by a standard phono weight applied to the central pin when played. I encountered no problems whatsoever playing the record in this manner: An expert might even be able to remove the buckling by carefully weighting the record down, thereby straightening it out...
