Description
PENTAGRAM - "Under My Thumb" Single sided Radio play 7" Acetate 1972
Condition is VG (Some minor scuffing to actual play surface) The rarest Doom metal 7" of all!! So this is the rarest of all PENTAGRAM 7"s, and this is the rarest version of that 7". The radio play acetate. Only 3 of these were made by the bands then manager Skip Groff back in 1972 along with the standard pressing of the 7" (Which was 200 copies) and these acetates were sent to local radio stations for promotional airplay. The records legitimacy was verified for me by Skip himself, and the bands then drummer Geoff O'Keefe. Containing the bands version of "Under my thumb", it's a classic piece of PENTAGRAM history, well before Bobby Liebling become a household name in the past 10 years.
I cannot give an exact shipping quote, as this will only be sent via express courier
and insured due to its scarcity & potential value, the other two copies are long disappeared and
should be considered non existant, so for all intents and purposes, this is the last surviving one.
I would expect insured shipping to be somewhere in the region of £12 in the UK
and anything up to £30 GBP worldwide sent via UPS or FEDEX (The amounts entered are only a
guide and actual shipping costs will be determined after auctions end)
