*The graduate of the Kishinev State conservatory, the conductor and composer Oleg Milshtejn became the founder and the permanent head of collective. From first day of the existence the ensemble "Orizont" has been created as vokalno-instrumental ensemble, without having something in common with the Moldavian folklore national collective. On the contrary - "Orizontu" was possible to present organically modern variety paints synthesis of author's products and elements of national motives of the Moldavian folklore. The statement of a musical material was carried out from a position of last musical currents of world music. Such arrangements which on quality did not concede to that music which was played by the best western commands of those years were created. As the youth creative collective, ensemble "Orizont" has been subject to search and was not afraid of creative experiments. Its surprising mix of a blues, a jazz, fate, FUNK and music elements "SOUL" is a style in music which is called in a word "FUNK". It became a bright distinctive feature of ensemble, and at once has found the spectator. GROUP "Orizont" became the first in the USSR who played "FUNK" music. For a sharpness of difficult syncopic game of wind group, ensemble "Orizont" the Earth, a wind, fire "compared to the western group". It was main and main principle of this comparison. Style of execution of these two collectives very coincided. Besides, as well as group " Earth Wind and Fire", the ensemble "Orizont" was registered on the most numerous GROUP on the Soviet platform. It included groups: wind (two pipes, a trombone, a saxophone), violin (four-five violins); a rhythm section (three guitarists, two keyboard player, the drummer and separately ???????) and four-five separate vocalists alternating solo singing with group. Frequently on a scene there were 16 actors, not including the sound producer and all technicians. In transfer with Moldavian "Horizon", ensemble has chosen a name "Orizont" to itself not casually. It is known that it is impossible to approach to a horizon line - it is removed all further and further. It is visible, but, nevertheless, an inaccessible line. Here also it wanted to ensemble "Orizont" to personify this magic line with a line of musical perfection. As though the collective did not aspire to it, constantly raising the mastery, all the same, the final line will leave promptly and far, and to force to work more and more.....>>>>
