ITEM DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is a beautiful copy of Nat King Cole's Love Is The Thing album, originally released in 1957. This is the long out-of-print Analogue Productions 2x 200 gram 45 RPM audiophile LP issued in 2010 in the US (catalogue number APP 824-45), mastered by Steve Hoffman. If you're looking at this listing, then you likely know that this may be the definitive version of this album on LP. The package includes the 2 LPs, a Love Is The Thing info booklet, and an Analogue Productions product insert. The playing surfaces and the labels of the LPs are flawless and look to have been played only a handful of times. I have only played a few of the songs, but they played NM, with no other noises caused by imperfections in the vinyl on this copy. The booklet and insert are flawless. There are a few cosmetic imperfections to the cover, to include a crease in the top right front, some wear to the top right corner, a dent in the bottom right corner, a crease in the top left front, and some light ring wear on the back cover, mostly near the spine. Spine is flawless. I have attempted to capture all of these characteristics in my photos. As I haven't played this LP in its entirety and if I'm honest, don't ever intend to (I have the simultaneously released SACD version of this album), I thought it could use a better home than mine!
SHIPPING
Combined shipping is available for multiple items. Please add the items to your basket then "Request Total" from me; I will create an invoice that is then sent to you for payment.
I will endeavour to dispatch all items within 3 business days, but usually I am able to get all orders out within 2 business days. If for whatever reason I am unable to ship within 3 business days, I will message you as soon as this becomes apparent to me; I would consider it unprofessional not to do so.
UK buyers: Within the UK, I will default to Royal Mail 2nd Class to keep costs down, but I've provided a few more options for you as well. I'm happy to entertain other options if you message me before clicking "Buy It Now" and specify which service you'd like.
US buyers: While I live in the UK, I also have access to a US military base and USPS privileges there, so I can ship to the USA via First Class or Priority ($10). Sorry, Media Mail is not an option for US buyers because the military PO has additional Media Mail restrictions. For US buyers, I will send your item via USPS and refund you the difference between your payment for Royal Mail international service and $10. For postal purposes, it's like I live in both the US and UK at the same time!
Other International buyers: I will also ship to Canada, Europe (except Russian Federation), Australia and Japan, as well as selected other countries worldwide, using Royal Mail (please see all international shipping options below). USPS prices are considerably higher for international shipments, and in this case would take a looong time (packages go from the UK to the US then to whatever other country).

CUSTOMER SERVICE
I am happy to answer any specific questions you may have or provide additional photos of any item; please don't hesitate to message me! I will respond no later than the next day. I am not a business, but have collected a number of items both personal and professional over the years that could surely find a better home with someone else!
Your record or CD will be securely packed--I pride myself on this, and don't skimp on bubble wrap, cardboard stiffeners, heavy-duty packing tape, etc.--and only the shipping service itself will be to blame if the item reaches you damaged. I have bought and sold a lot of vinyl records or various selling platforms, so I know that proper packing can never be overemphasized.
I grade conservatively, because I would want to be pleasantly surprised by the condition of a record or CD, not unpleasantly surprised. I want you to be fully aware of what you are receiving.
I will plainly state if a record is play-graded in addition to visual grading. If you have any specific questions about sound quality due to imperfections on the vinyl, I am happy to play-grade any specific parts you request or will conduct a general spot-grading for you. I won't do this for CDs because they either work or they don't--I won't be selling any CDs that don't play/rip flawlessly or with heinous scratches or other damage.
I will also plainly state if a record comes with the original inner sleeve, particularly if there was an LP-specific design or a time-period standard company inner, and will also include photos of said inner. Otherwise, assume no original inner sleeve will be included.
I will not be accepting returns on this item, but please communicate with me if you have any issues before leaving neutral/negative feedback.
Finally, please see my other listings! I'm listing several audiofile and/or import CDs/LPs and some vintage UK cassettes of various 1950s and 1960s albums. Thanks for looking and don't hesitate to make me an offer!!
