N.S.U. TURN ON OR TURN ME DOWN – 1969 UK PROG LP
Original 1969 UK first pressing on Stable Records, stereo LP catalogue no. SLE 8002. The disc is thick heavy vinyl with machine-stamped matrix numbers SLE 8002 A2 and SLE 8002 B2. N.S.U. are : Billie Brown (drums), Ernest Rea (lead guitar), John Graham Pettigrew (lead vocalist), Peter Grant Nagle (bass guitar & harp). Tracks on this heavy psychedelic LP are : (Side 1) Turn On, Or Turn Me Down, His Town, You Can’t Take It From My Heart, Love talk, All Aboard; (Side 2) The Game, Stoned, Pettsie’s Blues, On The Road.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Overall the record is clean and shiny. There are several VERY light marks (mainly inaudible) and one 1½ cm light scratch across Track 3 on Side 2 (Pettsie’s Blues). Gatefold sleeve is intact but is overall scruffy and seriously scuffed on edges.
