Description
This is a nice copy of the first pressing of the 1955 Blue Note release, BLP 1502, deep grooves on both sides. Has blue and white Blue Note label with 767 Lexington Ave NYC address. Matrix code is BN-LP-1502-A on side 1 and BN-LP-1502-B on side 2, Both sides also have an "RVG," the "ear" and something that looks like "W6," "Wb" or "M9" in the run out. The "frame" cover is in G condition, tight and bright with light surface, edge and ringwear and some minor darkening in the white areas and with the spine about 50% split in a protective plastic sleeve. The vinyl is in G+ condition showing light surface wear and playing nicely throughout with only light and occasional surface noise in a protective anti-static sleeve.
