This is A RARE AND UNKNOWN UNTIL NOW UK PRIVATE PRESSING PUNK / POWER POP single by the band MOONSTRUCK from 1980, ORIGINAL PRESSING IN BARELY PLAYED CONDITION AND A MUST !!!
This is a great PUNK / POWER POP single that is not known at all until now, and all 3 tracks are GREAT PUNK / POWER POP stormers with choppy guitars PUNK vocals and with minor touches of XTC thrown in for good measure, A GREAT FIND AND PROBABLY ONE OF THE LAST UNKNOWN PUNK GEMS FROM THE ERA !!!
Here is the story, I was given 2 copies by the band's guitarist (who is now a record company executive) I have kept (and will NOT SELL the second copy as this is a GREAT PUNK single, and it went straight into my collection), he told me that the band pressed 100 copies only for PROMOTIONAL purpose sending it to radio stations and record company in the hope of getting a deal and some airplay, he also told me that they played with the LURKERS and PROTEX in 1979 and 1980, he could not remember any of the other bands they played with.
So here is a complete UNKNOWN GREAT PUNK / POWER POP single for the FIRST and probably last time for sale, DON'T LET THIS PASS YOU BY, WHAT ARE THE CHANCES OF ANOTHER COPY COMING UP FOR SALE !!!
As you can see the single was pressed as a white label PROMO with only 2 hand stuck stickers on it, one with the band name MOONSTRUCK and the other saying PROMOTIONAL RELEASE.
There are 3 tracks on this single the guitarist only remember the title of the A side as: IT'S JUST A MATTER OF TIME (BEFORE THEY DROP THE BOMB), and did not remember the titles of the other 2 great songs on the other side.

This PROMO ONLY single never came with a P/S and the condition of the VINYL is in EX+ condition (PLAYED ONCE, minor sleeve scuffs !!!).
