This record was part of  the extensive "Fred Norris" collection  Fred was the chief arts & theatre critic for over 50 years at "The Birmingham Post". The Birmingham Post is one of the leading local as opposed to national newspapers in the UK. Google him to read more....

As such he was sent many many LP's from various record companies in the hope that he would review them and publish a favourable write up so promoting the artist and generating sales.

Most will  have been barely played , if played at all....

Today we have part of his jazz collection - all dating from the fifties through until the sixties. Once these are gone that's it !

Fred was a real audiophile and kept his records in  Nagaoka anti-static inner sleeves. Each record comes with one of these as well as a brand new outer plastic sleeve.

Needless to say that most of these will only have been played a few times if at all!
