First of all, you all know all about this so I don't need to bore you with the details. I will put a link to Wikipedia below.
#226 from the very first MFSL shipment with the number hand written on the box. They only did a small number this way and it had to be a pre-order. This is my LAST one and it is a very low number out of 25,000 made. The number is also inside on the box itself. I was a dealer back in the 1980's and ordered several first batch editions. The serial numbers were written on the outside of the box inside the D from Handle With Care. The box as you can see has never been opened. It is brand new. As you can see from the condition of the tape on the box it has been gently cared for. On most offered on ebay the tape is all dogeared and ripped. Not this one. The box has been stored inside my smoke free house at optimum temperatures. It was air conditioned in the summer and heated in the winter. It was never EVER in a garage or basement.
If you have any questions about it, please PLEASE ask before buying. There will be NO RETURNS with this item, due to it's nature: out of print and hightly collectible. The box is in the same condition as when it was shipped from Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab. It is what it is. If there is a defect inside of the box, you are buying it that way. NO RETURNS for defects. I will tell you this that in all my years as a Mobile Fidelity dealer, I saw extremely few defects. Their items were always top tier. I apologize for any defects but there is nothing I can do about them as they have been sold out since 1985.

It may take me a couple of extra days to ship it as I will need to find a larger box to put this entire box inside of.
I will set a shipping charge and I will ship best/fastest way within that money. I am not listing it in the summer because of the possible heat being subjected in shipping. So please make your purchase during the cooler months.
