| Here's a nice copy of a very uncommon private press LP, Lloyd McNeill's "Washington Suite," Asha label, number Three. McNeill was a free jazz flutist, or flautist if you want, from the DC area, and recorded a couple of LPs on Asha, which may have been his own label, but was certainly a local thing. Some compare the sound to a Black Jazz or Strata East LP, but I would say that Prince Lasha may be a better comparison. Anyway, very good and rare stuff. Cover on this one grades strong Ex, with original shrink intact, but with wear and rounding at all four corners. Disc grades only VG+; it has nice gloss and shows very little play, but each side has three or four long non-feelable scratches. These did not affect play on my table but they are somewhat visually distracting, and prevent a grade higher than VG+. This is nevertheless a very solid copy. US shipping is $7 priority mail, plus optional insurance. Overseas airmail shipping is $12 to Europe or $14 to Asia. All overseas buyers must use Paypal.
