Description
KENNY DREW-Undercurrent LP (Blue Note, 1962-64)
Early (2nd?) pressing with shallow groove labels, 47 W 63rd St address, and RVG/Plastylite "ear" in deadwax. Label and rear sleeve stamped "REVIEW COPY" and there is some shadow on one label from a sticker removal. Deadwax matrix is as follows:side A: RVG BN LP 4059-A (Plastylite "Ear")side B: (Plastylite "Ear") RVG BN LP 4059-B
RVG is machine stamped, rest is handwritten
Vinyl is strong VG to VG+, has a few scuffs on each side. Play tested and has some crackle on the A side intro that fades quickly, and about 8 very light pops midway through side B. There is a longer feelable mark on side A but it doesn't affect play on my turntable (Music Hall classic). Overall plays great, just not perfect. No skips or loud pops at all. Sleeve is also a nice VG+ with only minimal wear.
