1969/Cdn/Straight STS 1052....here's an underrated Psych lp by folk singers Judy Henske and Jerry Yester. Entitled "Farewell Aldebaran", Yester was a former member of the Lovin' Spoonful and was married to Judy at the time. A cult treasure, though few picked up on it in its day and few have picked it up since. Not readily comparable to much other late-'60s psychedelia, it's rare that rock combines pretty, accessible melodies and off-the-wall eclecticism and experimentalism so well, the tracks on this lp are: Snowblind, Horse on a Stick, Lullaby, St. Nicholas Hall, Three Ravens, Raider, Mrs. Connor, Rapture, Charity, and Farewell Aldebaran, the gatefold cover is in solid VG+ condition, delete hole bottom left corner, a touch of storage wear on front cover, minor ring top and bottom on back, no splits and looks clean and sharp!, the vinyl is in VG++ condition, side one looks VG++ while side 2 looks near Mint, the record plays through clean with only very minor noise at all, a nice copy of this gem here, please check my other auctions for more folk/psych/rock lp's, good luck and thanks for looking!
