Hi everybody,

I never thought I'd sell this, but economic times are bad and I need to get some much needed music gear for some upcoming traveling gigs.
This is one of the original copies of Licht und Blindheit, the legendary and nearly mythic 1979 package that included the Joy Division single "Atmosphere" b/w "Dead Souls".
Only 1,578 copies were made of this ultra-rare piece of Joy Division lore.  This will be the crown jewel in anyone's Joy Division collection and could very well be the crown jewel of someone's
entire record collection, period.  I was told that the record had never been played and I know for a fact that it has not been played in the last 25 years.
I bought this from a friend who had tracked down two of them during the 80's.  I have owned this for over a decade.
It will be worth thousands of dollars at some point.and is an incredible investment.

  • TITLE : "Licht und Blindheit"  containing the single "ATMOSPHERE" & "DEAD SOULS" .
  • LABEL : SORDIDE SENTIMENTAL 33002 1979 .
  • CONDITION :  Folder and inserts are in amazing condition and the record looks dead mint.  
  • DESCRIPTION : ABSOLUTELY ALL ORIGINAL, HAS BOTH INSERTS, THE WHITE AND THE BLUE AND IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING THAT THE RECORD HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED.  It is numbered 001068 out of 001578.
