SERIOUSLY RARE UK Apple SAPCOR 11 John and Yoko WEDDING ALBUM Vinyl LP BOX SET released on 7 November 1969 in celebration of John and Yoko’s Wedding which took place in Gibralter on 20 March 1969.

This was John’s Third UK Solo release, and the third in a series of experimental music. As with John and Yoko’s previous two experimental releases, it did not sell well, and again never made the charts.

This COMPLETE Box set contains:

An Original UK APPLE, FIRST ISSUE, Stereo 'Wedding Album' VINYL LP, catalogue number SAPCOR 11, on the Dark Green Apple label, with ‘Mfd in UK’ label text – the record labels and Vinyl Disc LOOK NEW and are in mint condition, but for a small scratch

Official Side 1 stamped matrix: SAPCOR 11A-1 and side 2: SAPCOR 11B-1.
Audio Quality:

Both sides of the BEAUTIFULLY PRESERVED LP has only been played, TWICE, but has got a small needle scratch which doesn't cause any play problems. The scratch was caused by the record player being knocked on its first playback in 1969. Both sides play PERFECTLY through all the tracks, with NO skips, clicks or distortion.

The Vinyl LP comes in its Original plain white 'Made in Gt Britain' inner bag, and is protected in a Fully Laminated Gatefold picture sleeve, printed SAPCOR 11 on the Spine edge.

The Laminated Gatefold sleeve is in FINE excellent plus condition. The Sleeve is GLOSSY, FIRM and STRONG. There are 2 small corner creases ONLY

Also included is an ORIGINAL, double sided black and white POSTER, opening out to 36" x 24", entitled 'The Wedding' and containing 12 wedding photos. The poster is in MINT  condition and as NEW

An ORIGINAL Black and White Card Insert, measuring 12" x 12", displaying a PIECE OF WEDDING CAKE. The bottom right hand corner of the insert is printed ‘SHENVAL’. The insert is in in SUPERB MINT condition.

A ORIGINAL White PVC BAGISM BAG, measuring 11.5" x 12", which is in UNDAMAGED mint condition.

An ORIGINAL Black and White 20 PAGE BOOKLET, measuring 12" x 12", entitled 'THE PRESS' containing newspaper style press clippings, and cartoon caricatures of the wedding. The pages of the booklet are in mint condition. The front and back cover is in MINT condition.

An ORIGINAL Black and White Tri-Fold Out, six sided, CARTOON STRIP, measuring 36" x 12", sketched by John Lennon, which is in SUPERB MINT condition.

An ORIGINAL HAIR PEACE/BED PEACE POSTCARD, measuring 3.5" x 5.5", which is in UNDAMAGED mint condition, and finally

An ORIGINAL STRIP OF FOUR PASSPORT PHOTOS of John and Yoko, measuring 8" x 1.75", which are in UNDAMAGED mint condition.

ALL the ORIGINAL inserts and the Vinyl LP are housed in their ORIGINAL Thick Card Black and White picture box. One edge of the detachable lid of the box is printed 'WEDDING ALBUM, JOHN AND YOKO' and the other edge is printed 'APPLE RECORDS'. The inside of the lid is pasted with a copy of John and Yoko's wedding certificate.

The Box is FIRM and SOLID and in STRONG Very Good  condition. This is a CLEAN box, and slighty worn - Overall Very Good
