Description

Up for Sale is a RARE & Out Of Print Album re-issue from a Classic, underrated band JellyFish. This is their classic 2nd & Final album from 1993! The album was re-issued back in 2012. This is the 1st copy released ONLY 1,500 copies of this AMAZING album on See-Thru Green Vinyl!!
*- I lighted cleaned Both Sides with Only some De-ionized/Filtered Water, a soft sponge and a super soft shammy clothe to dry sides. I only played part of Side A, Song 1 but it seemed to lighten the crackle so the album really could just use a very nice and deep cleaning, possibly with a nice, deep vinyl cleaning solution to really get in between the grooves and then maybe a professional vinyl dryer to suck out the dirt particles in between the grooves, alot of small vinyl stores have them.
The Lp itself I will downgrade to somewhere between a Very Solid VG+ & VG++ only because there are some very, very light surface scratches most likely from the personalized paper insert the album was originally shipped in. The actual Lp itself has been put pin a poly-lined sleeve. The Lp has no medium, serious or deep scratches anywhere on it on either side. Using a latex free glove and running my fingers over Side A & Side B I do not feel any medium or deep scratches which is a huge plus for any vinyl collector and/or listener. Side A  has crackle that can be heard that can heard at the start Side A and is evident during the quiet and super quiet parts of the songs obviously but for the heavier, louder parts to certain songs it is not heard. The medium crackle is not heard much on Song 2(Joining a Fan Club) because it is a louder, heavier song. Song 3 (Sebrina, Paste & Plato) crackle can be heard shortly at the beginning but then isn't heard as the song gets going but can be heard at the end when the song quiets and starts to end. Song 4(New Mistake) a random crackle here and there at the beginning/middle of the song. Song 5(The Glutton of Sympathy) light crackle heard at the beginning and middle, but it's minimal compared to earlier on Side A, medium pop heard in the middle of the song, crackle as the song ends. Song 6(The Ghost at Number One) song starts off well, light crackle heard at the very, very end of the song. Song 7(Bye,Bye,Bye) some super, super light crackle heard at the beginning and is very short and fades very fast as the song starts and gets going, light pop heard in the middle of the song, crackle and 2 pops heard at the end of the song.Side B Song 1(All is Forgiven) crackle is heard at the beginning, the song is a heavier song and the crackle is mostly over-shadowed by the loudness, heaviness of this song but it can be heard during parts of the song but it is very muted from the loud sound of the song. (Song 2 Russian Hill) crackle is heard at the beginning and is noticeable because the song is a quieter song, crackle comes and goes, it is not constant but like I said it comes in and out here and there, crackle is heard as the song ends. Song 3 (He's My Best Friend) not much crackle if any heard as this song starts because of it's loudness, not a super heavy song just louder than the super quiet Russian Hill song before it, no real crackle heard at all during this entire song. Song 4( Too Much, Too Little, Too Late) no real crackle heard during the beginning, middle.
The Cover I will downgrade and rate it at a Solid VG++. It has been opened but the album cover still has pretty much all of it's shrink wrap still covering the album from front to back top to bottom except obviously for the side slit where the album is removed for playing. The front cover still has it's original promotional sticker detailing the album on it. There are no rips, tears, hole punches or writing on it anywhere front or back. The personalized insert with album information on it is in very nice shape, no rips, tears or hole punches on it front or back.
