                                              review  "Late ‘60s folk/psych classic from husband and wife team Jerry Yester and Judy Henske. Yester had previously enjoyed an element of fame courtesy of his stint with The Loving Spoonful, but following the band’s demise in 1969, he set about producing this little gem with acclaimed folk singer Henske and a bunch of pals which were said to have included Ry Cooder and David Lindley.
Farewell Aldebaran, which is often heralded as a one of the most proficient and creative albums of its genre, with Henskey’s incredible range of vocal styles elevating the album to a higher plane. Her mind-blowing vocals on the opening track, the hard-fuzz Snowblind, gives an early clue to Henskey’s talent and range, and although this particular vocal style only features on the one song, the sheer diversity of her singing makes every track on this highly original and experimental album a unique experience." -peppermintstore bloodspot ====================================

based on Goldmine grading, but stricter (ie, my idea of VG is actually VERY GOOD)

 

SS - New, still sealed

NM - Like New, no visible signs of wear, no spindle marks. 

EX - Almost like new, may have very light spindle marks or very minor scuffs. Cover may have very light ringwear or minor dings.

VG - Not bad, may have light scratches or marks on cover.

SHIPPING INFO All LPs wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in cardboard record mailer. Shipping cost calculated by weight at exact USPS rate plus $2.50 for packing materials, etc.

Please be aware that Media Mail from Hawaii to the mainland takes 3-5 weeks (not 4-11 days as it says in eBay and Paypal's prefilled shipping menu) versus 3-5 days for priority and 1st Class mail.

 

All US shipments include USPS tracking number. Optional Tracking for International shipments available with Registered Mail* ($11.75 extra) or Priority Mail International, which is expensive - send a message if you require international tracking and I will update the invoice.
