JOHN MAYALL: A HARD ROAD

Super Rare (only a hand full do and will ever exist) Blue Labelled Factory Sample copy of this classic in British Blues rock. With incongruent annotated stereo sleeve.

From the estate of Mike Leonard, landlord to a fledgling Pink Floyd and light show pioneer.

A further item that I have for auction this week (Champion Jack Dupree signed photo and white label Blue Horizon Single) is from the same collection.

YEAR: 1967

COUNTRY: UK

LABEL: Decca

CATALOGUE NUMBER: LK 4853

MATRICES: ARL 7652 – 2A

GRADING

SLEEVE: VG

The sleeve is good and robust with some discolouration to the unlaminated rear and a couple of laminate wrinkles at the front. There are also some numbers written next to the track names to the rear of the sleeve.

RECORD: VG

There are some hairlines / scuff marks visible under bright light. The record has been play tested. Congruent with light marks there is some intermittent light surface noise. This is not too obtrusive.

The above record grading is based on Record Collector magazine system:

NEAR MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

IF YOU DISAGREE WITH MY GRADING (Which is hope is very unlikely) PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE LEAVING FEEDBACK.

Records shipped in dedicated record mailer with stiffener.

Postage costs (Please contact for specific country if not listed):

U.K - £4.60

US - £7.70

Europe (Including Russia) - £5.45

Australia / New Zealand / Fiji: - £8.10

Rest of the world - £7.70

I calculate postage using the Royal mail postage calculator. I charge an extra 50p for packing materials as i buy specialist record mailers and stiffeners. Sometimes records cost less to mail than i expect. In these cases i try to refund the difference. However, as I mail a number of records at one time i occasionally lose track of who paid what postage for what record. RATHER THAN LEAVING LESS THAN 5 STAR FEEDBACK, IF YOU HAVE BEEN OVERCHARGED FOR POSTAGE PLEASE CONTACT ME AND I WILL IMMEDIATELY REFUND YOU THE DIFFERENCE.

NO QUIBBLE FULL MONEY BACK GAUARANTEE IF YOU ARE UNHAPPY WITH YOUR PURCHASE!
