JOHN LEE HOOKER: HOUSE OF THE BLUES rare original mono vinyl 1964 NPL 28042. Condition is Used but the vinyl is Excellent and still gleaming black under normal light. This is a Chess original recording distributed in the UK by the Pye International R&B label in 1964. The sound is perfect with a very slight occasional crackle which adds to the authenticity. This is a UK first pressing with matrices A-1M/ B-1M purchased by myself in 1964. The Garrod & Lofthouse cover is still bright and unmarked with the slightest of creases. The reverse is unmarked and the spine is intact and legible. The label is pristine and unmarked with no spindle wear. The inner sleeve is intact but a little crumpled. A rare album in excellent condition for a 56 year old album.Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class.
