JOHN COLTRANE autographed LP "Ole' Coltrane" (Atlantic 1373) - Framed and Mounted + bonus
This is the ninth album Coltrane released in 1961 for Atlantic (SD 1373). The album was recorded at A & R Studios in New York, and was the last of Coltrane's Atlantic albums to be made under his own supervision. Sterling personnel include Coltrane's usual suspects; Freddie Hubbard, Reggie Workman, Art Davis, Elvin Jones and Eric Dolphy (due to a contractual conflict, Dolphy is listed on the credits under the pseudonym George Lane). Coltrane had one more album to cut for Atlantic before he moved over the Impulse Records.
The Certificate of Authenticity that came with this album is mounted on the back.
I can not recall the overall condition of the jacket or sleeve since it has been in the frame since 2005, from the photos the jacket does show the typical wear around the label.
BONUS:
Before the LP was framed I made a digital copy of the LP, the Jacket and the label. Since I would not have access to the LP I could still enjoy the recording. The CD indicates the sound quality of the record is at least VG+, yeah it's a CD but sounds like Vinyl.
