The auction is for a one sided 7" acetate featuring an special radio edit of Iron Maiden's classic 1984 track 'The Rime Of The Ancient Mariner''
and was produced by EMI Brigadiers in South Africa .
This exclusive edit runs for around 4 minutes and 5 seconds and is much shorter than the album version that runs for 13 minutes and 45 seconds!!

There is no catalogue number on this disc, label or on the run off groove for this one!
The record itself plays at 33RPM, is in VG++ condition and is housed in a EMI Brigadiers company die cut sleeve.
This is without a doubt one of the rarest Iron Maiden items in existence. Not only is it an acetate from the golden Maiden era but also because this radio edit of 'The Rime Of The Ancient Mariner' was never released commercially as a single anywhere in the world !!
This is a totally ONE OFF and very special pressing!!!
