I list all my records using the record collector grading system which is as follows:
Mint Condition: The record is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound.The sleeve and any extra items such as inner sleeve lyric sheets booklets or posters are in perfect condition. Records listed as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there are no scratches or lessening in sound quality. The cover and packing might have slight wear but no rips or tears
Good: The record has been played many times and there is some deterioration in the sound quality, there maybe some surface scratches. The Cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine scuffing, or maybe some slight discolouration.
Poor: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump. The cover and contents are damaged or some small tears.
Bad: The record is unplayable and scratched. The cover or contents are badly damaged ripped or partly missing.
