Hendrickson Road House - s/t (Two:Dot, stereo 1970) G+/VG+(+) ...... Rough but still very listenable copy of the this rare and fine 1970 psych private press with female vocals and folk and jazz touches. The music is stony, weird and cool and if it weren't such a biggie, I'd keep it for myself. Pokora gives this 5 stars and the LP has been lauded on the Acid Archives website and in Ugly Things magazine. The few copies that turn up tend to have a little water damage to the cover. ******CONDITION OF DISC: a fair amount of light scratches, hairlines and scuffs, as well as some general dirtyness that looks like it might be removable by a serious cleaning machine (as opposed to the hand-cleaning I've given it.) The label has some spindle wear to both sides. Light surface noise - side 1 plays very well, even the soft songs are nearly noise-free, while side 2 is slightly more noisy, but still very enjoyable. ********
